I've gone through 3 zunes within the past week because each one has had some sort of problem

All 3 have been zune 80s

the first had a dead pixel 3 days after i bought it

the second one had broken earphones(the thread covering on the wire was ripped, and the wire was stricking out, not the metal but yea)

and the third i jsut got about 5 minutes ago. and pressing left on the zune pad is very unresponsive!

is it just me who keeps getting crap quality zunes or is it a common thing?

P.S. these three crappy ones have in no way made me concider getting another player i love the zune way too much xD

I have 2 zunes and I've never had any serious problems with either, but 3 in a week, that sucks

Well I got my fourth zune, and so far, I'm perfectly happy

oddly enough it turned out to be a demo zune preloaded with 2.3 firmware (wheras the others had 2.0) and it played the preloaded zune video as a screensaver when it was charging. unfortunately upon upgrading to 2.5 it stopped doing the video, so basically its not a demo zune anymore

lets hope this one doesnt mess up on me.

on a side note, to any pink floyd fans, should I engrave my zune with the pulse "eye thing" or the dark side of the moon logo, with the words I'll see you on the dark side of the moon (the words would go well with either design)

That doesn't sound like all 3 had the same kind of problem.
That really sucks though, I hope the fourth one works well for you.
