Adobe Photoshop CS3

I can't install Adobe Photoshop CS3!! It's soo frustrating!!! I can always managed to install the shared components but not the photoshop itself! No matter how many times I re-install/install the program, I'll always get the same result!! Even tried downloading the setup from the Adobe website but still the same problem! ARGH!!

EDIT: downloaded Photoshop CS3 Portable, when loads, i get all these error messages popping up..

LOL!!! yeah just a little bit..

gonna try install Photoshop when i get my laptop and i'll see how it goes. but for now, screw it coz i'm just gonna stick to plain old fireworks.

ive had the same exact problem, never figured out how to fix it i just gave up after about a week

i'll probably go back to using CS2 at least it installs and still works lol

Did you completely Uninstall all the stuff... and possibly go through the registry to make sure there isnt anything left there...

Stuff? Messages? Randomness?
Specify the error messages you get and the explain the problem itself in more detail. Maybe then you can get help otherwise all you'll get is sympathy.

All i get after installation is a green tick right next to shared components, obviously showing me shared components were installed but then all i get is a message saying 'the following cannont be installed' and a red cross which shows the Photoshop itself did not install.

that's it. that's all the error message/s i get. that's how specific the installation progress gives me.

i'll try installing/re-installing the photoshop and tell you the exact details
