What do you think of Windows Mobile Device Center?

If you use Vista and you have a device which uses Windows Mobile, you will have noticed that ActiveSync has gone and been replaced with Windows Mobile Device Center.

I feel it is a lot easier to use than ActiveSync, especially the way in which you are able to get emails, contacts, calendars and notes across. It also looks a lot better. However, the Software on your PDA / Phone is still branded as ActiveSync.

What are your thoughts on it?

Havn't had a chance to use it yet (no vista til sunday ), though was this how you SMS'd me from the PC & the screenshot you sent via messenger?

If so, i'ma have to set it up

No it wasn't. That was my Bluetooth program, but if you have a PDA / Phone running Windows Mobile (Instead of Windows Pocket PC) then you could send messages via the phone from the computer.

Sony Ericsson Phone + MyphoneExplorer = Win
Although device center is a big improvement over Active Sync.
