Hey everyone i got a real quick Q i hope one of you can answer.. I installed the HD path and it works (TY!) but i was wondering if its safe to use windows explorer to rename and move songs and albums right then and there.. is it?

Yes it is. Although do not move anything in the root folder of the Zune. You can alter songs, videos and pictures though and all shall be fine.
