File Conversion Problem

Hi Friends,

This is my first post in this forum. I have got a Black Zune 30GB. I have installed the latest Zune software and also upgraded my device firmware also. Now I wanted to copy a movie which is about some 800MB into my zune. I have read in many places that Zune actually supports WMV format. So, I have converted my DivX movie to WMV format using Amadis Video converter which has a preset for Zune WMV video. The conversion went fine. After that when I tried to sync to my Zune using Zune S/W, it says CONVERTING again and after reaching some 10% the conversion stops and again the total sync gets failed.

I wanted to get clarifed about one issue. Why does the Zune again convert the already converted video?

Is there any particular preset? or any success with any other Zune WMV converters?

Please help me with this issue.

Hmm i knew that with the 30GB Zunes it didn't truly support mp4 format, and the Zune software has to convert mp4s but i didn't think that was wmv as well,
Maybe you should just try another video converter,

are they really free ones? but i do not think free ones are fuctionally satisfying, i am using a [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]that is not free but pretty easy-to use. maybe it is better to cost a little than causing headaches,ha...
