Harddrive replacement help

Hi i just replaced to harddrive in my zune and now my computer doesnt reconize it and on the screen of the zune it just blink the zune screen. What do i need to do to get it going again?

Format the device by doing the following:

To restore the Zune device software, follow these steps:
1. Set the Hold Switch to unlocked.
2. Press and hold the Back button Back at the same time as you press and hold the top of the Zune Pad. When the Zune device begins to power up, release the buttons.
3. Immediately after you release the buttons in step 2, press and hold the following special button combination, depending on your Zune model:
• If you have the 4GB Zune, the 8GB Zune, or the 80GB Zune, immediately press and hold the Back button at the same time as you press both the Zune Pad and the Play/Pause button. Continue to hold these buttons until your Zune device restarts and "Please wait" appears on the screen.
• If you have the 30GB Zune, immediately press and hold the Back button at the same time as you press both the left side of the Zune pad and the center of the Zune pad. Continue to hold these buttons until your Zune device restarts and "Please wait" appears on the screen.

Note "Clearing contents. Please wait" appears, followed by “Connect Zune to your PC."
4. After “Connect Zune to your PC” appears, connect the Zune device to the computer that has the current Zune software installed, and then update the device to the current Zune device software.

i tried that and it still doesnt work. It doesnt power up in the first placeso i cant even reset it to get the the 3rd step. Also is that copper tape holding the hardrive in place anything nessasary because i cut the that to put the new hardrive in.

And the tape that connects to the hardrive..? yeah you kinda need that to get the hardrive working with the zune....

Uhh that sucks, which wire did you cut? this one:

(between HD and zune)

If it's the first you can just change the battery but I presume you meant the second...

nonono the tape in the first picture zunesi posted that copper strip between where the battery is place and the hardrive. Right about the 3/4 circle on the hardrive

Oh ok then you can buy a new battery from rapidrepair,

still no my battery is fine i didnt cut any of the ribbon cables. This is what i cut
