Zune ~ Can't Install Firmware.

Well, I got my zune. I charged it for ~30 mins. I then tried to Sync it, and I got it to sync to around 70% of my music, then it crashed. The battery died 20 mins later. Since then, I have had the Screen 5: Contact Support.

I have done this, I have tried to format and reset it, but I can't get the firmware to install on my Zune. I have tried with Zune software 1.0 and 2.1

Any help?

I have tried to contact the people I got it from, they said they would send a replacement, but I haven't heard from then in 2 weeks, I have sent them many emails, but no reply.

Any Ideas, I want to try and fix this

Yes, I have. They said they would look into it, but nothing will happen because I don't live in the USA.

The problem is that the Hardrive has been misplaced.

My Zune did work, but then I moved it, and it crashed.

I contacted paypal about BestPricedBrands.co.uk last night, I wait for a reply.

Yes, i checked <GT>'s zune out.. you can hear a clicking when you start it up, then some scratching, just like my External Hard Drive which has failed. This meens the Hard Drives reading needle has been jolted/misplaced.

i currently have the halo zune which i assumed was just a 30 gig in a pretty package with pictures however when resetting the firmware and trying to reinstall it i am unable. the software loads and then promts me to install firmware and then when i do, it says cannot continue

i would take it back and get another one but... that was the last one in my town.

update: i reinstalled the firmware using another computer. after having synch problems after that i had to restart the Intelligent Transfer Service service this seems to be working.

NEED HELP!!!!!!!!My zune is saying 'open your pc and restore firmware', i have tried ALL the options on the officail zune site, nothing has worked.Have the error code C00D1249 but it wont install the new software (which is the solution on the official zune website) any ideas?????????
