D-pad wont work

My d-pad refuses to work, i can maybve scroll through the first menu, and after that it refuses to scroll or select anything. It only works when i try to reset or turn off the zune, but it wont scroll through the menu:mad:
what can i do?

Seems like a faulty device.
I suggest you contact Microsoft.

go to settings, touch, and turn touch on off, then on again, then it should work. ALso, mine stopped doing that when it had a low battery, check that

if that wont work, you could try resetting it? i cant remember the combination right now, or if the D pad wont work for resetting, let the battery die and try re charging

if neither work then sorry, i think you have a defective one
