Frustrating sync issues - ready to give up

This is an issue with my Zune software, and not the Zune device itself.

I've set up my Zune software to sync with a particular folder on my laptop. But when I start the Zune software, only SOME of the songs in that folder get added to "my collection".

All the files are MP3 songs, and the total size of all files is about 5 GB. There's no obvious pattern to the files that get added to "my collection" and those that don't.

I've tried everything - including uninstalling and re-installing the Zune software, but to no avail.

It's extremely frustrating - I love the Zune sound and ease of use, but if I can't get all my music onto it, it's useless to me.

Is there any possible reason for this? What could be the solution or workaround?

Ideally, I'd like to be able to simply drag and drop files from my hard drive onto my Zune when it's connected, but I don't think this is possible. Or is it?

Any help greatly appreciated. The last thing I want to do is to sell my Zune...

I had a similar problem. Just try moving the songs into a different folder, then clicking and dragging them into Zune software. Once you do that with one, it should recognize all songs in that folder,

mines doing the same thing its making me mad but ill try that and see if it works

Is it a compressed zipped folder?
