can't sync
i just bought a new zune80 red.. its looks awesome..!
but the thing is that, i connected to the computer n installed the latest firmware 2.5 through the zune software... but the second time i wanted to sync my library to the zune.. this time, the zune software isnt recognising my player!! help! sry if this is a repost but im at WITS end! |

Try connecting via a different usb port and make sure all is clean and dust free (your cable aswell as your port).
Try reinstalling the Zune Software.

Well if you're sure it's not just your computer taking a while then try resetting and then attempting to sync again. Just hold the back button and up on the directional pad.

thx.. but i did that, it doesnt help...
when i connect the zune, window chimes for a new hardware, the zune software starts, shows the initial screen (name ur zune, etc.) just for a fraction of a second n goes bacj to library... when i go to the device tab, it says connect your zune! |

Hm.. this happened to me a while back.. i formatted my Zune and it fixed everything.
If your willing to format, hold back + down, during restart (while the bar is moving across the screen), press the back button, left and center at the same time. A screen should then show asking you to plug Zune into the PC Reinstall the Firmware when you plugin and resync your music.. all should be fine

If you dont want to try that, the other thing is to go to Device Manger, uninstall the Zune as a peice of Hardware and then unplug, replug it in and reinstall the drivers for it.. It might help.
