Zune Accessories (radio transmitter)

I hear so much bad rep about this product... but most of what people say is just ... lame, so I'll give ya my review.

Price:
lets just say... way too much, and leave it at that.

Style:
well... it's just plain sexy, that's what it is... very simple design with a nice little display.. it's cool.
too bad they don't make these to match your zune, that would be cool.

quality(how well this works):
most people you ask are gunna tell you it's not very good.
for myself... it works.
It works on all of my house radios and both of my stereo systems.
It's static free on my stereos but for the little clock radios... I have to get pretty close.

in my mom's car.
it works the best out of any of the vehicles I've used it in.

My sister's
car barely gets local radio stations so you have to keep the zune right under her stereo head for it to work.

my truck
same as my sister's car... but my truck has an aux input... so I don't use the radio in there

my dad's truck
same as my mom's car.

ok... so it works... why do people complain about it so much? I guess I'm just lucky

here's a hint:
plug you sync cable into it... it boosts reception dramatically... like... a whole

when i'm in my sister's car with it plugged into the car charger, perfect reception even in the back seat...

it doesn't even have to be plugged into a power source... just leave the sync cable hanging off of it, and you'll get better results.



Something interesting:
you can block out radio stations with it. plug you sync cable into a power source, then put the transmitter... with out the zune. change it to whatever station you wanna block, and when you get to that station you get silence. cool eh?

the first one

i've never used the belkin transmitter but I heard it was much better than the zune transmitter.

the problem with any transmitter i've ever seen (besides the ones that hook on through the audio jack) is that you can not use it while you zune is in a case.

I don't recommend this product to any who has a cassette player/tape deck or w/e in their car. Simply pay the 10 bucks for a cassette/cd player adapter they plug right into the zune and work like a charm.
