Great news to all Zune users out there! A new concept is brewing, one that involves an iPhone smasher. Microsoft Zune released information regarding their newest upcoming invention: the ZunePhone. Although not much information about this has been released yet, various websites contain interesting rumors and 'specs' of the ZunePhone. Although it may take a while, Zuners worldwide will patiently await the coming of the new phone.
Aside from the mystery of the ZunePhone, DarkZune's brand new skin is a reality. Created none other than by Aden and Fez, DarkZune is now more than just a forum. Thanks is also given out to the testers, who dedicated their time to finding bugs, and errors. Enjoy the new skin!
"While the third season of the TV show Heroes is still under wraps, fans of the series can watch and download five exclusive music video podcasts for free in Zune Marketplace. The first episode, now available for download, features Nada Surf's Weightless. Four additional music video podcasts will roll out each week, leading up to the Heroes Original Soundtrack album release on March 18." Some people with Zune 30GB might be having trouble updating their Zune with the latest firmware updates. Here is a brief (uber simple) tutorial provided by Microsoft on how to update your Zune.

1. Make sure that you have the current version of the Zune software installed on your computer. To do this, follow these steps: • If you are a new Zune customer, visit the following Web site and install the Zune software for your computer: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
• If you already have an earlier version of the Zune software installed on your computer, update the software. To do this, click Settings, click software, click GENERAL, and then click CHECK FOR UPDATES
2. Connect the Zune device to your computer by using the Zune sync cable. Use a USB port on the back of the computer. Do not use a USB hub.
Note If the battery in the Zune device is critically low, we recommend that you charge your Zune device before you continue.
3. Open the Zune software while the Zune device is still connected to your computer. The Zune software searches the Internet for the latest version of the firmware. If a newer version of the Zune firmware is available than the version that you have installed, a notice to update your device appears. You can also manually check for new device updates by clicking Settings, by clicking device, and then by clicking Device Update.
Important Do not move or disconnect the Zune device until the update is complete. The update may take several minutes. During this time, the Zune device may restart several times. Please be patient.
