Great News for International Zune Users!

Introducing zInternational,
this hack:
-Unblocks Marketplace for the latest Zune Software.
-Lets you update your Play count in Zune Social.

After the latest Zune Software update the Zune Marketplace was blocked for International Zune users. This took away their ability to use the Zune Pass and download Music, Videos and Podcasts. Aden, Administrator and part of DarkZune's Hacking Team worked hard and got this hack ready.

What do you mean it doesn't work? Won't it add to your registry? Won't the marketplace tab show? Won't it let you ceate an account or use a ZuneCard?

Hi from a noob :wave:

I'm having no luck with this as yet and am asking for some advice.

I got my bro (who shipped my Zune 80 over here for me) to set me up with a US hotmail and then use that to set me up a Zune profile.

I've now run the patch but it still won't help me get through when I try and sign in.

I get a message after clicking 'sign in' and entering my hotmail & password which says:

The terms of service have been updated. Before you can sign in you need to view and accept the changed terms.

So I click on the link below the message to TOS and I am sent back to the 'Not available in you region' webpage.

Obviously I've not understood how to install the patch correctly and need to complete the process. When I run/install the patch the last thing to happen is a txt file called 'Zune Social' is created reading:

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\International]
"Locale"="00000409"
"sCountry"="United States"

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\International\Geo]
"Nation"="244"

Is something else supposed to happen? Do I need to re-install the whole Zune software too?

Can anyone please advise me?

The patch has worked correctly, you're going to have to get your brother to accept the new terms of service by logging in from within the states.

Sorry, just MS's fault.. theyre soo god damn good at limiting it to a single place.

Apologies for seeming a little dumb here. Ive installed the patch and trying to sign in now and get the message Zune has updated its terms and conditions please read them etc. etc.

So I clicked the link and was redirected to a page where I get the good old, Zune not available in your region.

Can anyone give a step by step on what to do please^^.

I've done this. I've got my bro to navigate through all TOS so I should have a clean swipe at logging in - alas nothing has changed. I get the same response as I've described before.

Is it worth reinstalling the Zune software? I'm at a loss frankly
