I'm a bit of a new guy here on the DZ boards, but I figured I gotta contribute to get more props.....
I came up with an idea today....don't know if anyone else has thought this up yet (probably), but in case not, I offer it up as a possibility.
For those who are struggling to find good BG to use with the DarkZune theme on zCustomizer, I decided to combine two separate ideas and try a combo solution. To make as simple as possible, I'll list the steps below.
1. Install zCustomizer.
2. Open the
Zune software, and go to Settings, then Display
3. Set the ZSM Dark Theme or DarkZune.com theme
4. Set the radio button for Custom Background
5. Hit browse and go to the folder where you have your
Zune BG stored (the ones for the
Zune UI display).
6. Select your favorite.
7. Back out of the settings menu and hit yes when it asks you to save your changes....
Since many of the dark BG look good on the Zune, I decided to try them out on the PC interface to see what would happen. To my suprise, the seem to do surprisingly well. I may have stumbled onto a dandy almost by mistake. I attached some screen shots.
Has anybody else thought of this??? If so, I'd be interested to see what you folks out in ZuneLand have come up with....
