On a couple of websites it has been reported that if you tag an mp3 with the "podcast" genre then you can "squirt" it to someone and they will be able to play it as many times as they want.

Its as simple as changing the genre from "rock", "hip-hop" or whatever the case may be to "podcast" either from within windows explorer or with any mp3 tagging software. I use mp3tag myself to do it.
You can change the genre in a number of ways. You can download software (as mentioned above by riprat) or you can do it yourself. To do so, simply right click on the song(s) you want to edit, and go to properties. Click the 'Summary' tab, and go to advanced mode (if not already). Here you can change Genre, as well as Artist, Year, etc. Just change it to 'Podcast', and that should be it.
But it feel odd to have all your music in the Podcast menu... A real mess.
I like it nice and tidy. Thats why I allways change the song name, genre, album pic etc if they are faulty. Im a real perfectionist.
But its true that the method to bypass the Zune is a real sneaky.
Sometimes I dream, and sometimes im awake... but in the middle, its just a blur.
Cool thanks, i doubt i will do it though because of what Wompa was saying about it's all messy, to be honest my Zune is very messy but i'd prefer not to have it even messier.

well it shouldnt do if u think about it coz iv got some podcasts that the zune software doesnt recognize as podcast so theyre in my music bit under the genre "podcast". so it should be the same for u guys.
